Thanks for another fabulous festival

Dear editor,
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Shelburne, I would like to thank all our supporters in making the 58th Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship a great success.
To our contestants, who continue to amaze us with their talent and dedication to old time fiddle music; to our audience (one-third of whom were new this year) who continue to support the contest and Canadian fiddle music; to our volunteers whose hard work makes this contest run so well; and to our great sponsors who provide the dollars that allow us to put on the biggest fiddle contest in all of Canada.
The proceeds of this event support the charitable work of our club. This year, we have been able to donate to over 25 charitable projects in the community and around the world.
As well, we are also proud to contribute in our small way with promoting an important part of Canadian culture that is represented by old time fiddle music.
