Quint*Essential 2008, a show featuring the jewellery, painting, weaving, glass and pottery of local artists Kathryn Thomson, Linda Jenetti, Pat Burns-Wendland, Brenda Roy and Rosemary Molesworth, runs June 20, 21 and 22 at Mono Community Centre. Opening gala, 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, includes music by Celtic harpist Loril Shannik, door prizes and refreshments. Saturday and Sunday. Photographer Ila Sisson will exhibit her work at Yoga in the Hills Studio, Mill Street, Orangeville, June 28 from noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to p.m. and June 29 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Farmers’ Market
“Bread or Quiche” from Seasons on Mill Street is featured tomorrow (June 21) at Market on Broadway in downtown Orangeville’s weekly farmers’ market. Breads and desserts are made daily at Seasons. Orders to be picked up at the market booth may be placed by calling 519-940-8841. There will be a free draw to win a Seasons on Mill Street market gift voucher at the Information Booth.
Music
Seasons on Mill Street is offering free live, original music in the restaurant on Fridays in June and July from 7 to 10 p.m. Norman Liota will perform June 27.
Theatre
Century Church Theatre, Hillsburgh presents the comedy Who’s On First, Aug. 13 to 23. Matinees will be held Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $22.
